Launch Of "A/S/L?"

So, abnormalanomaly and I had so much fun with the making of the previous blog entry...that we've decided to make an independent blog completely dedicated to making fun of stupid people.
It's still being tweaked.

Enjoy!

Fork In The Road

Woke up in a dream. All dazed and confused.

It's kind of weird how the decisions you make in life can shape it forever. Do you remember the story books back in the day that would ask you to choose between two or more outcomes.

"...Go into the creepy dark basement with blood on the stairs, go to page 54; or call the local Sheriff for help, go to page 72..."

And depending upon the outcome you chose, it would send you to a particular page. With no way of choosing multiple outcomes. It all ended up on the same path. That's kind of like how life is.

"Push the button, don't push the button. Switch the station, change the channel."

Get lost, don't get lost. Love, don't love. Every action has a consequence, and that consequence will lead you to a totally new unique Other. The domino effect. Your own personal flight plan. Who knows if we get another trip.

G-d Damn Looters!

"Ranting is good for the soul."

The exact words from a close friend. Okay, so Kanye West was wrong for his derogatory statements about Whites, and using the N-word incessantly in "Gold Digger." And honestly (despite being a fan still) his sophomore album could have been better. However, I have to agree with the statements he made during the Red Cross Relief Fundraiser on MSNBC. I'm pretty sure that everyone is familiar with that famous moment in television history by now. I'm not sure how George W. Bush feels about Blacks because I'm not a mind-reader. However, I wouldn't put it past him. At first glance I simply though he was referring to the race card that he commonly plays. But after looking at it from a different perspective and also doing some research as well, I've realized something. The media does in fact depict Blacks and Whites differently. Look above, the picture with a Black person has the caption of "looting" while the picture with the White couple has the caption of "finding." That alone speaks volumes for itself.

Ahh...the fund. Good times.

Ahh...the fund. God I miss it. Have you ever had a moment in your life, a time when you thought everything was great. Surrounded by the best friends that you thought you'd ever have. People who care, good times, just a great environment overall. There was a period like that in my life. The time I was in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY...but I grew up in SLC. I came into my own. And for the first time I felt I could be myself. Maybe it's just the Xanax talking.

Wieners...

weinberg: ...they're little wieners...
abnormal_anomaly: Vienna sausage is like processed wiener spam...
weinberg: And what's up with that weird liquid anyway??

Random Thought Of The Day

Why am I not surprised that our country is going down the tubes? Random thought of the day.

What Is This Blogger You Speak Of?

Ahhh, so finally I see what all the fuss was about. This so called blog. I've had livejournal for years and thought to myself..."what's the difference?" It looks nicer. My focus is life, and world issues as well. Politics, history, government, activism, (as well as a need for everyone to have a healthy sense of compassion) is my current drive in this stage of my life span. Well, that's it for now. More will come later. Ari W.
